	Not For Broadcast (location sound recording & audio post-production)


	My work on Not For Broadcast and its 3 DLCs over the last three years has included, location sound recording, post productions audio mixing, sound design, dialogue rerecording, foley recording, dubbing treatments in Russian and Chinese, in-game sound effects creation, mastering of all audio content, and elements of music composition. Upon its release, Not For Broadcast was extremely well received, and in 2023 was nominated for a BAFTA in the category, Game Beyond Entertainment. The game also currently holds the Guinness World Record for the "Most Full Motion Video in a video-game"... clocking-in at a massive 42 hours and 57 minutes, and that doesn't even include the DLCs!

Not For Broadcast is a darkly comedic game of televised chaos that lets you pick what you want to see on TV, no matter what anybody else wants. Egotistical celebrities, dishonest politicians, and strange sponsors clash on the airwaves. You’re here to ensure that the show goes on uninterrupted. Cut between multiple camera feeds, tweak the headlines, bleep the foul language, all with just moments to spare on a live broadcast! Whether you toe the party line or stir up a scandal is your choice, so long as you can hold the audience’s fickle attention. The game is intended for a mature audience and is available on PC, Playstation, X-Box and various VR platforms.

	Rushden Town Band (location sound recording) I’ve worked with Rushden Town Band on numerous projects to provide high quality audio recordings of both live concert performances and specific compositions for competition entries. On each occasion, recordings were made at Park Road Baptist Church in Rushden, a beautiful location that offers a superb acoustic response due to it’s large performance space and unusually high ceiling.


	EMF (sound design) E.M.F. is a retro-styled puzzle game where the player is an electron having to navigate their way around circuit board levels that varying from really basic to convincingly complex. Working closely to the tinyhouse brief, Honney-Bayes Productions have now provided a carefully designed range of unique audio sound effects to accompany the E.M.F animated game components. I created a large quantity of the sounds using my Parker guitar, a really filthy fuzz pedal and a handful of audio plugin effects! The audio sampler (below) includes a selection of the sound effects created. It should at least give an approximate idea of what the game will sound like.


	Another Piece Of Cake (ongoing composition project) Another Piece Of Cake is the name given to an ongoing studio-based project that I've been working on with my longtime client and friend, Roy Carter. The music below is a selection of the compositions we have created together during our one hour studio sessions every Thursday morning over the last few years.
