February 2012...
Well, after 10 years of existing as an amateur Production entity, its all finally happening. Honney-Bayes Productions will be moving home and studio to Northamptonshire, at which point the organisation will be incorporated and commence trading as a supplier of production, tuition and installation services. I will also be releasing my creative invention, Klaus Kroak, to the world as a performing musician with an initial set of solo electric guitar compositions and a sizeable slab of freeform improvisation. Initially, I’ll be looking to perform at venues in the Northampton, Wellingborough and Kettering areas, but I hope to move on to London when my confidence gets to where it needs to be. Keep an eye on the website for a detailed schedule in due course.
I’ve never felt so positive about the future, and I think its fair to say, I’m uncharacteristically optimistic as it is for a British chap. I’ve worked extremely hard over the last two years and now feel ready to face every challenge that presents itself to a professional artist-musician-teacher. My one hope is that the enthusiasm I’m currently experiencing sees me through to the other side of success.
Now, on a more serious note, I’m keen that Klaus Kroak is employed as a positive force in the community where I will live. As such, from June if anyone would like to book Klaus Kroak for a charity event, I will happily support your cause through performance and the sale of merchandise. My music is unique and I really hope it can help support the work of essential charities in our society.
Thank you to everyone for your support, and a very special thank you to my wonderful Mother and Father for making this all possible and for always encouraging my absolute devotion to music and art.
