Oddly Warmish, a collection of twelve fictional stories intended for a mature audience (also the name of the village where the stories are set), was conceived by Nigel Honney-Bayes and Jason Orbaum in the summer of 2002. The following spring the project’s first story, Seeds, entered the pre-production stage for the filming of a television pilot. With no funding and a rather naive understanding of what we were getting ourselves into, Seeds was produced by the Limbik Productions and Honney-Bayes Productions partnership in 2003.
One year on, a well received screening was held at Cranleigh Arts Centre attracting an unexpectedly large audience. Sadly, though the buzz surrounding the project was deafening, Oddly Warmish was shelved.
